Specialist Training

Through our specialist training courses you will have the opportunity to upgrade your skills in a range of care tasks. We review our specialist training regularly to make sure all the people we care for can be confident you are fully able to serve their needs.

In addition to 4-days of formal care assistant induction training we regularly run the following specialist courses:

• Caring for people with dementia
• Caring for people with Parkinson’s Disease
• Caring for people with Multiple Sclerosis
• Helping people to cope with dying, death and bereavement
• Continence and catheter care
• Colostomy care
